Flavour of the week

Illustration Friday: Flavor. illusTrail I've anglicised the spelling, perhaps I like drawing U. The tongue is wrapped around a hybrid lemange (or is that oramon). Here's to a fantastic year of cookery!

I think that you should do a review of this recipe, after trying it out on Rachel. I like the tongue - are you in food -drawing mood?

My very strange tongue picks out these strange fruit Caroline! I suppose it's a result of being indecisive, orange or lemon, I don't know I want both - I want to have my fruit and eat it.

Perhaps you should come 'round and partake of this mysterioso - it is after all vegetarian, despite being called bean puree in a hedgehog roll!

Where is page 141 ... somewhere in the right hand side of your brain? Where do I find hybrid lemanges or oramons? Am I asking too many questions?

Tis better to consume many flavours than just one ... like your image! You WILL have a fantastic year of cookery!

Pg 141 is still safe and sound Anonymous, in a favourite book that is covered in cooking spillages, frying pan rings, and mould blots from immersion in water (not deliberate!)

I like the idea of a map of the tastebuds Carla. I don't think I'll inflict this recipe on you - I realised it's one that involves cooking beans for a very long time, with unpredictable results. It's a good book though: The Mexican Cookbook, by Sue Style, printed by Hamlyn but sadly out of print.

Thanks valgalart, I like being whimsical and fun!
