No really - that's the shape it is on my drawing board! I chose that shape, and not because I'm lazy and didn't want to draw the rest.

Cool detail...lots of wonderful lines and patterns...and a great interpretation of the topic. I like the shape you used...it's like a peek into another dimension through a warp in time. Overall...very wonderful:>

The night didn't gobble your image? You are not lazy and didn't want to draw the rest because the night was descending? Am I asking too many questions? Are there key holes this same shape? Is your real name Tom?

Thanks all for loving this labour of love, and for your various comments!

Carla - I like the peek into a warp in time idea. This is a dimension where moonlight is more magical - like childhood memories. Also when a kid, you see stange forms in the shadows that turn out to be something ordinary when the light returns.

anonymous - I don't like the idea of a doodle-gobbler - it would probably wolf down my best bits! If I tried filling in the other rectangles it might not look as good - maybe I could draw a keyhole shape.
I'm no Tom - but I am more of a catperson than a dog one!
