Johnnynorms is 40 today!



Rachel has been busy putting this montage of me together. Click on it to get a clearer view of just how silly I have been over the last 40 years. It sort of feels like a surprise birthday party where lots of previous versions of myself all turned up. What a horrendous thought. Which one would be able to out blather the other ones?

Happy Birthday old fruit. Have a good one. I think you should mark the ocasion by taking up a new hobby (handgliding perhaps ... or perhaps not).

The only handgliding I'm going to take up is my hand gliding towards a pint. Will be in Brighton doing just that tomorrow and Saturday - are you around?

I suppose I didn't exactly shout from the rooftops about my fortyage. My mum refuses to believe it, and says I'm not the sort of person who becomes 40. But here I am.

Giant Sand were fantastic, but we got there late and missed the support and a few Sand numbers. Then they finished early and we mopped up the spare time at the Hand in Hand.

Are the rumours true Nick? Are you still on ginger pop and soda water etc? How long for?
